Corona Virus & Care Onboard Ships
We receive many calls each day from our maritime clients asking what to do if they have a crew member on-board with suspected Corona Virus (COVID-19). We are directing them to reliable sources such as below which advises on care if the patient needs to remain on board. In some cases if a ship is at sea, or, in an area with limited medical facilities immediate evacuation will not be possible. See the below link for guidance. We have limited stock of Personal Protection Packs which we are holding for remote sites or marine/aviation clients who may be faced with providing home care. These are available as "Crew Packs" and also "Caregiver Packs" for the person attending to the patient.
